Formal completion of sale to Banka CREDITAS. Max banka to replace Expobank brand in the Czech Republic
The sale of Expobank CZ to Banka CREDITAS and its parent CREDITAS investment group is formally finalised. As of 4 October the Czech Expobank is renamed Max banka.
Max banka will be a purely online retail bank. Its communication with clients will be based mainly on digital technologies. Max banka only has one branch in Prague, but its clients will be able to use the branches of Banka CREDITAS for some services. Corporate clientele will be eventually transferred to Banka CREDITAS.
“We want to utilise the present-day advanced technologies as much as possible and make Max banka a modern bank for retail clients with current accounts, savings products as well as simple online mortgages and consumer loans, which, until now, have only been offered in the form of refinancing. Corporate clients will find full service within Banka CREDITAS,” says Chairman of the Board of Banka CREDITAS Vladimír Hořejší about the future plans with Max banka.
Max banka can take advantage of the strong foundations of the CREDITAS investment group of which Banka CREDITAS is a member. “The business models of Max banka and Banka CREDITAS complement each other quite suitably and our strategy is to make use of the synergy between the companies,” says CREDITAS group CEO Jiří Hrouda and adds: “We will soon be offering new products and services. Our hope is to make Max banka an online bank for every day for its clients.”
New logo and visual image
Max banka aims at clients who want to handle all their processes online. The aim was to underscore maximum simplicity and openness in all interactions between the client and the bank. The new logo and visual image are based as a whole on unorthodox and unusual colour spectre and prominent typeface. The brand emphasises places where clients or potential clients will encounter it – on the screen of their mobile phones or computer monitors. Even the visual style of ads or online presentation are governed by displays and responsive web design requirements. The author of the logo and the entire visual style is the Dynamo Design agency, the creators of the visual identity of Banka CREDITAS and the CREDITAS group as such.
