The Banka CREDITAS reported a profit of CZK 114 million last year

The Banka CREDITAS generated a net profit after tax of CZK 114.3 million. The bank´s business went well, especially in the credit area, but the results were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The bank remains strong in terms of capital, with a capital adequacy ratio of 18.66%.


"Last year we invested significantly in new digital banking, we grew in corporate loans, we also entered into the mortgage market very well and maintained attractive parameters for deposits," says Vladimír Hořejší, Chairman of the Board of Directors, adding: "However, as with the other banks, the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic slowdown played a significant role, which meant more adjustments, so profits fell by about half year-on-year." In 2019, the bank's profit after tax was a total of CZK 263 million.

The total volume of provided loans increased by 7.8% year-on-year to CZK 16.2 billion. The volume of deposits at the end of 2020 amounted to CZK 61.4 billion (a decrease by 11%). The balance sheet total at the end of the year was CZK 66.7 billion. The total capital adequacy ratio at the end of the year was 18.66%.
